Read articles on your e-reader
Both for work and private life I read many articles from “the Internet”. Because I don’t always want to read from a fluorescent bar, I prefer to do that on my e-reader. Fortunately, it has an option to sync articles with Pocket, a service to easily save articles from your browser and read them back later.
So if I come across an interesting article on the internet, I press the button Save in Pocket, so the article is automatically saved in Pocket for later reading. An additional advantage is that Pocket simplifies the layout, so that you do not see advertising banners. You also have the option to download the articles to your smartphone, so that you can read them even if you do not have an internet connection. Usually I also add a tag, so I can find things faster.
Because I have subscribed to newsletters with many links to other interesting articles, I now also have the Chrome extension Batch Save Pocket installed, which allows me to simply select a piece of text and press the button, distilling all the links and saving them to Pocket at once.
